Is it the Jolly "Green" Giant? There's a good pun in that, if you know where to look for it? Hehe, you'll see what I mean in screenshot No. 9
Anyway, so I wanted to see how this trick cooperates with the Doghead and Dragon toy. I tried it (City Day) near the fountain in the park at New Ark (in front of the hospital) but I couldn't climb the beam (chose a bad slope). Restarted and tried at the "beach" in Down Town. Might be the limitations of my computer? But the AI cars don't appear on the road at that corner, however you can see and shoot them in the street near Tommy's house. But they can't trigger the other Super Weapons.
Then I found a perfect location!! On the slope beside the Hoboken bridge (the bridge over the ground tram tracks) opposite side of the Gas station. So some descriptions of the screenshots...
Once you've planted the Doggy toy, save your game at this phone booth. You can see the spaceship's beam in the top right corner. I planted the Doggy toy on the hill to the left, the Dragon toy on the footpath and the Doghead on the road.
When you shoot enemy cars they typically race over to the "designated kill zone" with their vehicles, which means the Spaceship will pick 'em up and hurl 'em away. But sometimes the enemies will get out of their cars and start shooting at you, in that case you'll need to extinguish the situation ASAP with well placed bullets, because their bullets will hit you.
It's hard to determine where the UFO will throw the cars unless Super Powers are turned on and the screen is "distorted", because you can't see under the spaceship.
Most of the time the enemy cars will drive over the Doghead and the driver/passengers will catch on fire. The Dragon toy did NOT work for me at all. I tried it several times, but nothing. However the Dohead/Doggy toy combo works well (burning car is thrown).
Cops are turned into Dogs super fast!
It may be hard to distinguish because the Spaceship disappeared from beneath me, but I'm still high up in the sky. I was able to play on for about 30 minutes without falling down, and the Doggy toy would still throw cars. It looks like an optical illusion, like Tommy is a giant. So long as you don't move forward or back, left or right, so long as you just "pivot" on the one spot, you don't fall.
And you gotta' get rid of the traffic jams (grenades come in handy) because the traffic jams stop new cars from spawning, but it's very easy to jump back down, obtain new weapons and then run back up the beam again. This is the easiest place to climb the beam. A few seconds and voila!
I'm going to see what the Body Guards do next? I'm especially keen to see what the Super Priest Body Guard will do? But I think I'll keep hold of those findings until we see some member participation, maybe someone else try some new locations, share your screenshots...
