Hi guys (no simsalabim I haven't finished the Port mission yet)  :(

ИзображениеИзображениеИзображениеИзображение

I captured 1604 screenshots (after conversion 706Mb) in this gaming session (about 3 hours).

st-mm-am-vip-lg-bg_1 copy.jpg

Took the Lady in Red for a spin in my Prototype Hotrod (ex-Micro-car). VIP ON! Lassiter gang in China town. Mmmm,,, particles. "Trust me I've done this before" (Oops!) In case of emergency please use the snorkel and flippers. The reason why you should always wear a seat belt! Doghead (just warming up folks)

st-mm-am-vip-lg-bg_2 copy.jpg

Hired Super Priest, drove to Oakwood. Bumped into the Small Time Criminals Lassiter gang. Doghead (getting warmer)

st-mm-am-vip-lg-bg_3 copy.jpg

Neither the Priest nor the Lady in Red got out of the car when I did. 2 Lassiter gang members got out of the Lassiter and attacked them. I grabbed the Doghead from across the street (very convenient) and did some Voodoo black magic on these 2 guys. Wasn't watching the Priest or the whore. After I killed the 2 gang members I got taken out "Scarface style" from behind by the other 2 gang members who chose then to get out. Moral of the story... NEVER turn your back on a Lassiter gang! The Priest was dead and as things went dark, the Lady in Red got carjacked. Some more Doghead Superweapon demonstration.

st-mm-am-vip-lg-bg_4 copy.jpg

Fire is fun. And really BIG fire, flashes and explosions are even BIGGER fun. I never get enough of Alive mod VIP pyrotechnics.

This moment looked like Divine Intervention, or should I say Divine Premonition of Detention? That blessed halo of white light was a sign from God. You'll be wearing handcuffs soon Tommy.

st-mm-am-vip-lg-bg_5 copy.jpg

Arrested! Again!! I call screenshot 3 (in the line of fire). Fire is fun! Oh I did that already... The Priest can walk through metal! Shooting carjacked gang members at close range is fun!

st-mm-am-vip-lg-bg_6 copy.jpg

Gives a whole new meaning to "riding shotgun". Mmm... particles. VIP X-ray vision on the Gangster Body Guards brain. Ditto for the Lady in Red. See women's heads are empty! (I told you so)

Killed by a cop dog. I had 59 Health when Scooby attacked. That's some serious teeth! And tearing out my throat wasn't enough, he had to trample me a few times also. Howling at the sun.

Screenshot 27, "the glow". Some random AM commotion.

st-mm-am-vip-lg-bg_7 copy.jpg

Get your Priest blood here. Oh this is a classic! I got out of the Buick, but the Priest, Lady in Red and Gangster Body Guard stayed in the car. Ran around behind the Lassiter and they shot the Buick to smithereens. It blew up! Two gang members got out but didn't attack me (I was busy planting a Doghead). Figured I was safe, but then suddenly after the first guys burned they attacked. Moral of the story... Only an idiot stands this close to these guys! Examples of VIP particles. Detective Lassiter gang, levitating cop, check out my health and that gang member taking aim. Bad scene man!

st-mm-am-vip-lg-bg_8 copy.jpg

I survived! 'Tis but a scratch, 2's plenty of health!! More Detective Lassiter gang. That tram is moving. Guess even Super Priests aren't immune to traffic. BM4WD gun turret VIP style. Screenshots 32 to 34, my quickest game ever! Over in less than 60 seconds! Salieri got (I mean shot) two birds with one stone (I mean solid round). Shiny Holy man.

Hey Mike! Why has the Salieri model changed to this guy?

st-mm-am-vip-lg-bg_9 copy.jpg

Before you trigger the Salieri cut scene, position the Priest outside the door. He'll take on Salieri and all the other enemies. This diner's momma never taught him table etiquette.

Important! Has anybody been able to hail this taxi? Morello's driving it. I can't get him to drive!! What am I doing wrong Mike? (I know there's a duplicate screeny of the tram driver, it's a mistake). Flying car action. Jackpot! 3 crescent moons, by the light... of the silvery moon...

Morello mission...

ИзображениеИзображениеИзображение

st-mm-am-mm-cn-dplgnr_1 copy.jpg

I'll explain the "dplgnr" (doppelganger) reference in a sec.

Some new stuff from the Morello (City Night) mission. I got killed. No that's not it. First off some customary gratuitous violence. Great isn't it? OK, now see where the BM4WD starts bouncing around uncontrollably, getting worse and worse, higher and higher, faster and faster, spinning out of control. This happens in Countryside too. Two things can trigger it. Number 1, the Jumping Car function, number 2, enemy bullets. In this case it was the enemy blasting away with their Tommy guns.

I got some screens from up in the sky, You can get out of the bouncing BM4WD if you right-click as it is on the ground (before it bounces back up into the sky) every so often Tommy will be able to get out. The bounces do damage to Tom's health, usually the enemy continue shooting and their bullets hit you, eventually the BM reaches the moon and you die. In this case Tommy died, but I was able to right-click up in the sky, get out and take a little nap in the air (screenshot 24).

Then this happened... I've shown Morello drive his Silver Fletcher in through one of those garage doors and get behind the clipping before. I too have gotten back there unintentionally during game play several times, but this time the Priest did it! He squeezed his way in when he got stuck between me and the BM. At first I didn't even know this, I just presumed the enemy had killed him, but then enemy cars pushed the BM into the garage door and when I got out I was behind the clipping, other side of the fence (like Mike showed us how to get into the Face Cave using the two cars technique).

The Priest was running around back there, aiming in all directions, including the opposite way - back toward Little Italy. Very unique sense of direction... maybe somebody "upstairs" tipped him off about something going on at Salieri's restaurant? Either way there was no way back out again (if you manage to get a car back there you can use it to climb back out) but otherwise the ground is not solid everywhere.

st-mm-am-mm-cn-dplgnr_2 copy.jpg

Customary gratuitous violence... then follow the bouncing BM4WD again... but this time the cut scene of Tommy crawling out from under an upturned vehicle played. Then the BM4WD began bouncing again, onto Tommy's head! Although I would have expected a little more damage when a 2 ton truck falls on your skull, hehe. OK now this was weird (and the reason for the dplgnr title). When I charged up (Super powers) and ran away from the BM, it stopped bouncing, but Tommy was now like the Doppelganger. I ran him off into the distance then ran around in circles and things then began running back. Regrettably I missed some cool screenshots but it was possible to take a screenshot of Tommy facing the camera view (when running back). I doubt I can redo these circumstances but hey anything's possible so maybe...

Some more violence...

st-mm-am-mm-cn-dplgnr_3 copy.jpg

Just to show you where these garages are, plus some Morello mission mayhem. Morello kept shooting at me (but that Buick was in his line of fire) in the end he shot the engine so many times it blew up.

S to the T, to the X to the Q to the W to the P to the Z to the R to the V! What's that spell? STXQWPZRV

PS. Thanks for the karma guys. Believe me I need it in the real world... :)

Oh! Remember, you can not hail a taxi that is not running? :D It was stated in the user manual, who could know it better than you... There is just one exception - the taxi that is waiting near the gallery at the CI... However! Yes, you can use the car with Morello inside (what for I'd add some useless elements in the mod) BUT you have to hail any other moving taxi from traffic... small hint: try to hail a taxi in the same area, near from Morello's taxi, and keep an eye at both cars...

Thanks simsalabim. Mike there's so much stuff to the AM it's a real challenge to remember it all! Hehe :D

st-mm-am-add-ons_1 copy.jpg

OK got the taxi thing happening (Sergio Morello). Thanks for the tip Mr. Mouse. Taxi got stuck in traffic twice unfortunately, both times I had to carjack gangsters and use their Thor's to push the other cars out of the way (so the taxi could continue). Followed it across the West Marshall bridge to the big fork in the road near the Theatre on Central island, but the game ended then when Salieri was killed by Morello's hit men. I'll try again when I have some spare time, see if I can get into the taxi? But at this point I'm not so sure. The moment I hailed the ordinary taxi, this one with Sergio took off fast. There wasn't an opportunity to get in. But not to worry. I'll keep at it.

Haven't seen this (stretched models) Mafia game glitch in quite a while. I'm playing version 1.0 (no patches because the BM4WD gun turret's too good to sacrifice). The Terrorist vs. the Fire Service Pumping Station Car Dealer. Little Paulie (VIP switched on once). Terrorist vs. Oakwood Car Dealer (Morello vs. Morello).

st-mm-am-add-ons_2 copy.jpg

And the winner is... Oakwood Car Dealer! Some publicity shots. BIG smoke particles. Shrunken Silver Fletcher whore casually walks away. Bad Guy (who is he?). Weird graphics glitch in menu screen. Little Italy Car Dealer (Don Salieri) vs. Terrorist. Got too close to the Morello vs. Morello fight. The Dragon Toy...

st-mm-am-add-ons_3 copy.jpg

Dragon Toy shrinks an attacking gangster. Little Paulie. X-Ray vision (x2). VIP switched on twice! Looking into and through various objects. Flying Cars? Nah just X-Ray vision. Sarah didn't attack the Terrorist? She usually does, perhaps they're having a secret affair?

st-mm-am-add-ons_4 copy.jpg

All that was left of Tommy after the blast. Little Paulie, VIP x 2. Terrorist detonated himself at these steps and Tommy received zero damage (remember previous finding in Little Italy?). The Flying Car looks awesome with VIP x 2!

st-mm-am-add-ons_5 copy.jpg

Golem. Detective Body Guard vs. Silver Fletcher gang member. Enemies... some more X-Ray vision, plus BLOOD PARTICLES!!!

st-mm-am-add-ons_6 copy.jpg

Carjacked Fire truck. The TV show "COPS" gone wrong! Arrest fails when explosion kills police, but Tommy still arrested... Golem vs. Detective Body Guard. Cops and grass particles. Big group of police kill Golem with shotguns. Flying Lassiter Small Time Criminals gang?

Mike, what's the reason for this "bouncing BM4WD" problem I've been experiencing? City Night, Morello mission, the BM4WD starts bouncing uncontrollably then shoots up into the sky and disappears. It usually happens when you use the Jumping Car function and the BM gets hit with multiple bullets in mid air motion. Seems to be a new hiccup (Mafia or AM related?) it never used to happen, then all of a sudden started happening. Any ideas?

I'm sure it sometimes happens even in the clean, not modified game... I don't know the reason of this I just suggest it happens because BM is too heavy - hard to calculate its bouncing... BTW it sometimes happens with green trucks, another heavy cars in the game... though it happens not too often with trucks - rare case enough...

Re: BM4WD (maybe it's also because we're using Mafia version 1.0 unpatched? Maybe the patches fixed this problem?)

Maybe... As you know I've never tried any version of the game but 1.0... Actually I'd like to try the native English version of Mafia, lets say 1.1 or 1.2 (DVD version) but I seem can't find them here in Russia  Also I can't (and rather don't want) to download those versions from internet due my limited traffic... Well if some day I get the original English Mafia then I could re-develop the BM turret script for that version... Seems to me that nobody else will be able to make that script  As we can see no one was able even steal my original script after 2,5 years since it has been released

They're too small for you Mike.  Too small to respect anybody or their work. Too small to possess moral etiquette. It doesn't matter that you've always said it was OK to use your scripts provided that you're acknowledged as the original creator. They can't even do something as straightforward as that! Intelligent people don't even have to be told to do that!! They'd do it automatically, and with pleasure, because they're respectful and appreciative of other peoples skills, and their generosity when it comes to sharing information. I guess this just goes to show what you're dealing with... you're right, liars and thieves. :(

And the fact that they haven't been able to crack the Da MikeMouse Code (hehe) demonstrates just how incompetent they really are too, lol! It's all there right in front of them. All they gotta' do is figure it out, but can they? NO! Hilarious!

IMO Illusion Softwork's is also to blame here. All contributors from the Mafia game community (both ethical and non-ethical) know I.S. don't give a sh*t about their fans, maybe if they did, modders would be friendlier to each other. Remember when we contacted them Mike? And they scurried to download your videos? Hehe, did they have the decency to contact you? Nope! That's too much to expect from developers. There's nothing that can bind them to a legal contract not to show some courtesy. Don't be surprised if your scripts end up in Mafia 2! Remember they didn't finish the Black Metal 4WD's gun turret, you however did! 8)

Don't worry MikeMouse, no amount of lies will ever change the fact that the Alive mod is all YOUR work. And those jealous w*nkers who staged that campaign to defame you. They may've succeeded with the odd clueless member, but anybody with any commonsense whatsoever knows you're telling the truth and they were full of it!

I'm a great judge of character (a proven fact) and I know you're an truthful principled individual. :) Also very proud of the Alive mod, but hey, hehe, I would be too! It's genius! You can't stop liars from spreading lies. You've posted the facts. If people want to study it they can. It speaks for itself.
